Be a Granby Land Trust Volunteer

As an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, the Granby Land Trust relies upon the support of volunteers to achieve its land conservation mission. Today, as an organization responsible for stewarding more than 1,500 acres of land, we need your help more than ever. We encourage you to contact us to discuss how we might be able to put your skills and interests to work in a way that can be meaningful to you while helping to protect Granby’s natural heritage.

How Do I Get Started?

If you're interested in volunteering, we have a number of ways you can help ranging from becoming a Property Steward (click here for responsibilities) to helping us organize our Land Trust events.  If you have a special interest, we encourage you to contact us by phone (860.653.7095) to discuss how you can get involved.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the following Volunteer Form to let us know your interests. You can print and complete this form and mail it to:  Granby Land Trust, P.O. Box 23, Granby, CT  06035. You can also contact us directly by email at info@GranbyLandTrust.org. The printable Volunteer Form is a PDF and you use Adobe Reader to view it.

On behalf of the entire Granby Land Trust Board, we appreciate your active involvement and support.
